DIY Flower Party Favors

Summertime is here, and these little DIY Flower Party Favors would make the perfect addition to your summer celebrations!

I created these cuties for our Alice in Wonderland Party, and they were a huge hit!

In just a few short steps, you'll have yourself a blooming flower garden that can serve as party decor until it's time for your guests to head home!

Here's what you'll need:

Assembling Your Flower Party Favors:
  • Fill the tubes with gumballs.
  • Use the paper punch or scissors to make 2-inch circles out of the tissue paper.  You will need one dozen circles per flower.
  • Put one dozen circle in a stack and staple together in the center.  Carefully lift the top layer of tissue paper and "pinch" around the staple.  Lift the next layer and pinch around the first layer.  Continue lifting and pinching until you get to the last few layers.  Separate and lift the last layers, but just give them a gentle "fluff" instead of a pinch.  Fluff the tissue paper poof until it looks something like this:
  • Use hot glue to secure one poof into the center of the baking cup.
  • Glue the baking cup "flowers" to the candy tube "stems."
  • Display as desired.

Graduation Party Supplies

In just two short weeks, my son will be graduating from high school.

It seems like just yesterday he was sitting on my lap, stroking my face, and telling me we would be "fwiends fowevuh."

Gosh, how time flies!

In honor of my growing-up-too-fast guy, and in honor of your graduates this year, I've designed some graduation party supplies to personalize our graduation celebrations.

All items are available in a variety of school colors:
Carolina Blue & Black, Red & Black, Maroon & Gold, Green & Gold, and Navy & Gold.

Need another color scheme?  Shoot me an e-mail!

Graduation Thank You Notes

Congrats to your graduates!

And if you're a sobbing mess like me, maybe we could start a support group?

Something requiring weekly cocktail & frosty drink meetings sounds like it should help...  ;)

Cinco de Mayo Celebration Ideas

A day where we get to celebrate Mexican food, gorgeous flowers, and brightly colored party décor?

Now that's what I call a celebration!

If you haven't had much time to plan any Cinco de Mayo festivities, no worries!

Here are a few quick ideas you can whip together for a fun, festive last-minute celebration.

Margarita Cupcakes

What's a fiesta without margaritas, right?

Give your guests a surprise twist with margarita cupcakes!

Keep things super simple by baking up your favorite box mix of cupcakes, and slathering them with this delicious lime frosting!

Add a dash of tequila and you've got instant margarita cupcakes!

If you want to get a little more authentic, you can always make these tres leches cupcakes, but they do take a lot more time.

World's Best Salsa

You simply can't think Mexican food without thinking chips and salsa!

This delicious salsa is my sister's recipe and it's super quick, easy, and yummy!

It's a must for your celebration this weekend.  :)

Fast and Easy Party Décor

Add instant pizzazz to your party with these printable Mexican Fiesta party goodies.

Party toppers, tent labels, and party flags are all available for instant download, and add
a festive, personal touch to the party.

Your guests will think you've been planning for weeks!

Happy Cinco de Mayo, friends!
Cheers!
