Chicken Salad Bites

Springtime is here!

That means bridal showers, baby showers, and of course, outdoor parties!

These tasty little party starters will make the perfect addition to your springtime party!

Crushed pineapple gives this chicken salad a light, refreshing taste, and I love the crunch of the sliced almonds!

You can also add halved grapes to the recipe for a hint of color and a little more sweetness.

I just served these in fillo cups for a get-together, but you could also serve it as a salad on lettuce leaves or with your favorite bread.

Paper Paradise!

I can walk into a stationery store and be engrossed for hours. Something about all of the colors and designs just gets me every time.

Well, I've been updating the invitation pages on the site, and once again I find myself in complete paper paradise.

We all know that the invites set the stage for the party, so I thought I'd share with you my favorite places to find unique, quality invites that will knock their socks off.

Okay, so there are tons of online sites for invitations, but there are two that I just adore: and .

These two websites both deliver exceptional quality products while taking it really easy on the pocketbook. Did I mention cute and affordable??? Definitely make it a point to check out each website when you're planning for your next party!

To see designs from these two companies and a few more, take a mosey over to our new and improved invitations page!

You'll find invitation ideas for kids and adults, as well as pages dedicated to photo invites, custom invites, and invitations that you create yourself!

Barnyard Bash

After making those adorable little chick brownie pops, I just knew that they needed to be added to our barnyard party ideas!

Boy, was I right...take a look at that photo collage! Don't those little guys just blend right into the party theme?

With the weather warming up, now would be a perfect time to move the kiddos outside and throw a little barnyard bash (and a great excuse for you to try your hand at the little brownie chicks)! :)

Take a peek at the site for all of the inspiration you need to throw a barnyard party that is loaded with down-on-the-farm fun!

Spring Chicken Brownie Pops!

This is a brownie. Seriously!

I bet you've never seen a brownie look this cute before, have you?

Me either!

I had so much fun making these little guys that I just can't wait to try my hand at some more!

They are surprisingly easy to make, and they are a definite conversation starter at get togethers.

Take a click on over to the site for complete decorating instructions.

Inspiration for these cuties came from one of my favorite blogs, Bakerella. She actually made cake pop chicks which are absolutely precious! If you've never visited her blog, be sure to add it to your to-do list! :)
