Stylish and spooky all at the same time! I saw the idea for these somewhere on the internet and immediately fell in love! The best part? They are soooo easy and inexpensive to make. I found everything to make these at the local dollar store (even the cute little placemat) and had
them put together in minutes. Ooops, wait...I actually got the ribbon at Michaels...but other than that...completely dollar store. :)
Instructions for how to make them are on the Halloween decorating ideas page. Give them a try...you're going to love them! Tweet

Trick or Treat!
These little lollipops put the "spook" in spooktacular! Super easy to put together, and incredibly inexpensive, these are a must-do for Halloween!
Whip up a bunch to hand out to trick-or-treaters, or stuff them into a pumpkin for a fun centerpiece and party favor idea.
Find instructions for how to make them here.

This is my son and his buddy dressed up as mummies last year.
They sat veerrry still on our porch with their eyes closed, and when the kids got really close and tried to reach in the candy bowls for their goodies, the boys would move and scare them.
It was sooo much fun for everyone!
We had people coming back again and again just to find out if the mummies were real or pretend!
This year we're throwing a teen Halloween party, so who knows what type of costumes we'll see.
If you're in the market for a costume for your teen, check out our Teen Halloween Costumes page for some fun ideas.

Teens aren't always the easiest to please, but with four teens living in my house, I'm learning quickly what's cool and not cool! :)
A Halloween party is cool. A Halloween party with the parents hanging around is not.

Aren't these spooky little treats just adorable?!! They can be whipped up in minutes...literally...and can be used in so many ways!
When you make them into cookie bouquets like the one above, they can be used as centerpieces for the table or as gifts for your neighbors.
When you tuck them into scrapbook paper "pockets" they become fantastically frightful favors.

I had a lot of fun experimenting with some new
recipes over the weekend, and I have to say, my kids and hubby were more than willing to be taste-testers! :)
On the site I've posted instructions for chocolate covered caramel apples, spooky sugar cookies, tombstone brownies, bloody witches fingers (for the gory at heart), devilish Devil Dogs, and chocolate covered magic wands , so be sure to check them out! Tweet

The meat was incredibly tender and full of flavor. Sooo tasty! You could really use any kind of meat and your favorite marinade and get the same great results. Definitely worth trying for your next party! Get the recipe here.

The way they've got them displayed, they'd be great to use as party decorations before handing them out to your guests at the end of the night! They'd also make the perfect bite-size party snack! Tweet
