Winnie the Pooh Honey Brunch

A sweet fan of mine recently asked me for ideas for a Winnie the Pooh "Honey Brunch," and as I searched for inspiration I fell deeper and deeper in love with this theme!

Adorable table markers written in the classic Pooh font are just precious, the "bear" banana bread drizzled with honey, and the Honeycomb cereal served in little honey pots are some of my favorite elements!

Fresh flowers in a beautiful honey yellow make the perfect centerpiece, and the beehive pinata & Honeycomb cereal art are a fun way to keep the kiddos busy.

Beehive cakes and cupcakes will satisfy your sweet tooth, and honey pot favors will send each guest home with a smile.

Graduation Cupcakes

With graduation season upon us I thought I'd share with you some cute little cupcakes that I made for our son's graduation last year.

Inspiration came from these fun little pops that Bakerella made:

It would be really hard to even possibly make these any cuter, but in my world, everything's better with a cupcake.  :)

So, I transformed these babies into cupcake toppers.

I used mini M & M's and a fruit roll-up in our "school blue" to top off the Ghiradelli chocolate square "caps".

I highly recommend refrigerating the Reese's cups until they're really cold before peeling them.  It was tough to peel the wrappers off without peeling off some chocolate along with them.

All in all, they turned out well, and our graduate loved them!  :)

And, just because I'm super proud and can't help myself, here's a pic of our grad last year with his brothers and sister.  Melts my heart!

Congrats to all of your grads this year.  Hopefully this cupcake idea will help make their day extra sweet.  :)

Mini Appetizers ~ Shot Glass Snacks

Good things come in small packages, and that goes for appetizers, too!

"Mini" is the new way to go when it comes to party food, and shot glasses are the perfect accessory for jumping on the bite-size bandwagon!

We threw a Brew Bash Beer Tasting Party last year and had a blast finding fun ways to incorporate "shot snacks" into our party menu.

We kept the trend going at our Minnie Picnic Party by serving Veggie and Dip shots.  They were adorable!

Take a peek at what else we came up with below, and let it inspire you to create your own fun little treats!

(We served them on a warming plate to keep them hot)

Birthday Cake Shots

Fun ideas, right?  Just remember that some of these tiny treats will require utensils.
Party City has some teeny tiny little spoons that are just the right size.

Have fun with this, and if you come up with some super cute, creative shot apps of your own, be sure to come back and share them with us!
